Canucks dominate the game until the middle of second period with 3-0 lead when the wheels come off with 3 soft goals by Welland. Everything they shot went in. Goalie change with young Rattie going into the 3rd to settle things down. Game tied 5-5 going into five minute overtime. Canucks totally dominate the four on four play as Welland ran out of gas. Lazich scores with minute to go in overtime. Welland had no business getting back into this game but were feeding off the shaky goaltending.

What happened to the mighty Niagara Falls, from whats been said here they were unstopable. Could there be a big problem. BIG INDIVIDUAL HEADS? ??

Nothing has happened to the falls. They played a great game, but their goalie let in some softies that set them back. They absolutely dominated the game except for about 10 minutes in the 2nd. Very physical team and their forward lines are unreal. Watch out GHL...this IS the team to beat.

nf has the most physical team, every forward they have is not afraid to throw his weight around. they will go far this year, maybe bring the championship back

Stoney Creek will be as far as the Falls will go.
Remember, Thorold is still in this league .

I don't think anyone said the Falls is unstopable. But they will be in the top three and you can be sure they will be competitive in the playoffs. All these teams are physical and if anyone claims they are tougher then another, their dreaming. When you have fifteen individuals on a team, it seems to even out between teams.

Who's Tougher....that's a great prediction, " the Falls will end up in the top three "
There's only three jr.b teams in this league, the Falcons , the Canucks and the Hawks. You know and I know the other teams are only there to fill in the blanks.

Has anyone realized it's only the first week of the season ? Let's wait until January 10th when teams start making final roster moves to get stronger for the playoff run , then make predictions. Falls is looking good so far , give Paone some time to get comfortable behind the bench, as long as he sticks to Timmins' style of play , he'll be OK. St. Kitts is a team that as long as the core group gel with the newcomers , they will give either Thorold or NF fits come crunch time . I agree the other teams aren't there with the big 3 , I'd like to see Stoney and Port and Welland step up and make the league a bit tighter in the standings.

Kevin, I was edited yesterday at sometime after 5pm. Could you please tell me what rules I broke or how I infringed on your guidelines. I stated my feelings on the teams in the GHL and took no personal attacks on anybody.
I am curious as to why my comments were edited and when told of my wrong doings, I will do my best to stay within the guidelines you have set. Thank You
Moderator's Note: I can't really remember what you wrote originally but it was nothing that bad as it was not noted in my notes. If you would like to e-mail me at info@localsportsreport.com and provide me with your original post I could comment further. Or if you decide to register on this forum, you could also send me a private message (which will allow you to remain anonymous). Thanks Kevin
