i've been at the last 2 games, and it seems like paone is making mistakes, both games he hade 4 guys on the ice when thorold wasn't short handed, last night 3 centres playing on same line, panicing too soon, shortening the bench 2 games into the season. let me hear your take on this.

It is early. Give the guy a break!
It is up to veteran Blackhawks to get their act together and stop resting on them winning the Sutherland Cup.
I am sure the Captain has stepped up and addressed this with his veteran player's, if not, I am sure he will.
One thing for sure, is the Hawks are going to need a little more grit up front. If you can remember, every line last season had one gritty player. Huneault, Hedden, Falzoi and Howden. Can't expect Falzoi to do it game in and game out.
Things will get better in Hawks Land.

The league is already looking interesting this year. Its good to see the Thorold fans questioning the coach and the Falcon fans jumping all over the opening 2 losses. They've come back down to earth in a hurry. But the base of a great team is still there and you know they are going to make a run of wins some time this season. Are the players willing to put out as they did in the past, we'll watch how it plays out.
