Coates played well for Fort with a couple of quick goals and some chances later in the game. The three Falls stars of the game; Raine, Courtney and McFadden are going to make alot of teams miserable this year.

We are having a problem getting our volunteer reporter a media pass to the Canucks games.
I contacted the Canucks this week regarding the media pass and they said they would have to think about it. They were suppose to call me back with an answer but I have not heard from them.
I'm not sure why they are hesitant to give our volunteer reporter a media pass. Both St. Catharines and Thorold had no problem with it and have fully accommodated us.
If any of you know anyone from the Canucks organization, perhaps you could contact them and find out why they seem to be uninterested in this program. Perhaps they do not have a clear picture of what this is all about.
In addition, we are still looking for reporters for Port Colborne, Fort Erie, Welland and Stoney Creek, as well as the Jr. C teams. If anyone is interested please contact me at info@localsportsreport.com

That's not it as the Canucks did not know who the volunteer reporter was.

as for Kusy, he isn't much, a savior in FOrt, I don't think so, the kid needs the heart... Coates and Chambers will do more this year for Fort then Kusy, Keller the goalie didn't look bad, he had over 40 shots....Defense look ok, Ryalands was invisable tonight, maybe he should put a cage on it looks like he is afraid to get hit in the face, #22 (maybe Jantzi) for fort looked good , big kid, hit 2 posts, and set up a real nice goal for coates...
NF Mcfadden will be there savior... they need some goaltending though..... Defense are big and slow... fort took advantage of that tonight espechially on the 2nd goal....Forwards are impressive though.

Canucks got some pretty sick forward lines going

Mc Fadden 3 goals for Falls, Courtney 1?, not sure who other Falls goal scorers were. Fort Erie was Coates with 2 and Waszynsky with 1.

What game where you watching? Sounds like somebody's got a lot of jealousy in them. Thought Rylands played pretty good, he's one of the best defencemen in the league and Kusy played a good game too; he had 3 assists and had a couple of good chances. He's a good young player. Letwin had a pretty good game also, couple of good hits. Chambers skated hard all night, real hustler. Ft. Erie might not be to bad this year, might surprise a few teams.

chambers is the biggest chissler in the league, someone will do him in this year and shut his trap for him.

canucks dmen look alot better than last year. this could be the team to beat this year. 4 solid forward lines, the only question is goaltending

Thanks for the info on the goalie Iafrate. Was wondering where he came from and why Duncan wasn't playing. He played OK after the 2 quick goals by Fort and settled down looking much more comfortable especially once they got a 3-2 lead. I would say that after seeing the new defenceman for the first time, it looks pretty promising and are mobile than expected.
