Who is it going to be this year?

The answer will be whoever scores the most against Wheatfield. These games will only serve to inflate players stats and will not have the same status as in years past when you had to earn each goal and assist. This being the case, each team will keep shooting and the scores could end up in the double digits with one player possibly picking up 5-10 pts, possibly I said. There will be no mercy. Hopefully Wheatfield will improve as the year progresses and goals will be at a minimum.

Clay Mcfadden of the canucks, was second last year behind mccaffrey and the team has a sick offense again this year.

First eight spots will probably be Falcons and then Risi for 9th and Smud for 10th.
Miller wins goals against avg. and Hall will have the most wins. The least penalized team Wheatfield and the most peanilized team will probably be the Falls or Port.
Good point made by Missy, just hope it doesn't happen that way.

Most penalized? After Saturdays game, Port must have everyone beat by a mile. Sorry for the pun. Does this include game suspension?

The most penalized team is usually not the toughest team. Its kind of tough to say which team will be the most penalized but its easy to see that the Falcons are going to be a talented, aggresive, tough team.
Nobody will come close to matching Dahms when the gloves are dropped. Trouble is, he's one of the five top players in the league. Thats why you'll see guys like Shaw and La Forge(he is massive) doing a lot of batteling for the Falcons.
They have three heavyweights that no other team can match.
If you don't agree with me, go watch the Falcons when they come to play your team and you'll see what I mean.
Its only two games into the season and there's lots more hockey to play but St. Catharines sure look like they are on the right track to leading the league with the line up they have put together.
PS...can't wait till we beat, oh sorry, meet the Falls.

To Ya Think, ....are you for real. Why wouldn't a team use their best players for pk and pp.
Blinkhorn and Dahms will see more ice time then anyone else in the league because they are two of the best players in the league.
The Falcons have not only picked up the best imports available, they have more local good talent on their team then any other team in the Shoe.
Coach Cole and his staff have put together a team that can handle all circumstances that are thrown their way. Ask Masterson what he had to say about the current Falcon line up and who he thinks the team to beat in the Shoe is this year.
Learn to live with it, the Falcons are back and they are for real. Make your next post about how much the Falcons will have to play Sean Hall this year. Oh ya, don't forget how we will burn him out. In your dreams pal.

As I said in my earlier post, the games against Wheatfield will only inflate players stats (except for St. Kitts). 4 games and 29 goals against with 40+ games to go. A player lead in goals, assists and points could be decided from Wheatfield games alone (except St. Kitts).

Again, the Thorold Blackhawks lead the league in another catagory. Although tied for last place, the Hawks managed to come out in top spot for the team wearing the most cages in the Shoe.
According to coach Paone, the team is considering using tennis balls at practice to insure no one gets hurt. Also, the boards at the Thorold Arena will be covered with 1/2 soft rubber during team work-outs.

What is going on this year. Is it bad goaltending or bad defence? I looked at the scores and they are in the double digits. Of course goals, assists and points are going to go high, probably record breaking. As of today, Stoney Creek and Thorold will fight it out for goals against avg. The rest of you, will fight it out for record high total goals for and against. Last night's game scores were ridiculous. If Wheatfield picks it up a notch, they will be right there with the rest of the teams.
