Let's see how much Chayka plays. Might have been better off in Midget where he would have played regualarly and developed. Just checked and Howard was drafted in the 13th round, both Nedilsky and Chayka were drafted in the 15th round.

I agree with cold truth you cant be 135lbs and and not fast, its too dangerous. The draft is a joke too. And Nolan was deserving of his pick, dont chirp the kid because hes better then you or your kid, say to his face ,he'll probably laugh at you.

The draft is a joke. How else do you explain all the Welland boys being drafted. There have been years where Welland had 5-6 kids go and St. Kitts 0. Some of those years St. Kitts would beat welland soundly but Roy and the guy from Beamsville fixed it.

Its funny that people talk like this is a phenomonen that doesn't happen all the time. People are taking shots at Nolan, Moes, Chayka and saying that the only reason they were drafted was because of who they are...know... etc...Last nights Falcons opener showed another part of this. Mike McGarr and Andrew Potter have Grandfathers who were part of setting up the Falcons. If these two did not have their grandfathers backing, would they both be playing on this team? McGarr has yet to prove he belongs and is in his second year. Potter is being given every chance to succeed. and the jury is still out on him and his second year. Is this a bad thing or is it the way the world works?

Who's Your Daddy....people like you have a hidden agenda and don't have the balls to come right out and say whats on your mind.
Your jealous comments can't be hidden by your prying questions. I don't know if you're a player or a parent but I do know there's not much pride that runs through your blood.

It is interesting that you reacted this way. Most people on this site don't mind bashing, but when the bashing hits close to home, you attack. My point is that you can take any kid on any roster and you can find something about them that you think smells fishy. McGarr and Potter are but two examples of this. I harbour no ill feelings towards these two, and believe they are probably nice kids. But when people start this nonsence about preferentail treatment then everyone is fair game. I personally don't think that this site is a good place for people who want to rant about players. Any post about a young player starts turning into a bashing of Nolan. He is a great kid, a good hockey player and I wish him the best. If those who knock this kid knew him then they wouldn't be saying these things. Lets let the players decide who is good and who is not. The best response to any of this nonsence is for the players to go out and let their playing speak. Some people in life get all the breaks. However, in order for them to achieve and go over the top requires their hard work and dedication.

Falcons get one sniff of the Sutherland Cup and they think they own it. I was at the game and in no way shape or form did St. Catharines even acknowledge that we had it. Cole's statement in The Standard was wrong. They would have been better sitting in the dressing room. What better team to unveil the banner and show off our success. The wanna-bees can chirp all they want, it's playoffs that count and we know where they always end up-without the cup.

It is only early. Remember, you heard it first................ There will be several upset player's on the Falcons by the end of the year, resulting in another lack lustre play off performance.

Game On, think how great the Falcons felt after kicking Thorold's butt on their home ice and taking the Sutherland banner and sticking it down their throats. St. Catharines did enough in celebrating Thorold's Sutherland Cup Year, we gave you most of your better hockey players.

Don't worry about us, its you falcons that can't handle Wheatfield. There should be an investigation, maybe Cole sent the midget team. Can't wait to hear all the excuses and finger pointing.

Is it true you went first to worst....hehehohohaha

Every message ends with Falcon's being feared. Not even Wheatfield fears them anymore. Maybe they fear what might happen after this upset. Who's gone or traded or who's sitting the next game. *****Go Creek Go*****

maybe its the canucks that everyone should be fearing they haven't lost yet and in both their games they have managed 50+ shots and still been able to win their games with awful goaltending which should be resolved soon. thorold hasn't won and st.kitts just lost to wheatfield so i guess its the falls that you really should fear.

Kilcar was never a big scorer, not even in minor hockey. He was more of a banger, checker and occasional scorer. Putting him with a sniper and asking him to be a catalyst may not be in his repertoire. i have seen kilcar play alot and i have never seen him hit or bang around in the corners

Its good to hear from some Creek fans on this board. Hope they finally have a break through year, maybe even higher then the Falcons or Blackhawks in the standings. Surprised we haven't heard from a Wheatfield fan after the HUGE win against a team voting against their admittance into the Shoe.
