If you have been following the Falcons, you will see that Stevenson has not fulfilled his scoring role yet. If he is the real deal, and his stats indicate he is, then playing with Aucoin and Kilcar hasn't offered any type of chemistry. Cole is playing the crap out of these three to get them going, but if something doesn't happen soon, then it is either Aucoin or Kilcar or both who are holding this line back. If Cole gets this line going in the right direction, then the offence will be incredible.

I agree with your comments. The Line has nochemistry at the moment..I think Aucoin is a natural center ..When he played center in the Playoffs last season he played really well...Kilcar has good speed but not strong enough down low to help out a weak Defence...Stevenson will score but his specialty was on the PP not even strenght...Cole has Blinkhorne ..Petro Chummer... Heywood and Dahms on the first PP unit.. The second unit has not offence from the Point..

Kilcar was never a big scorer, not even in minor hockey. He was more of a banger, checker and occasional scorer. Putting him with a sniper and asking him to be a catalyst may not be in his repertoire.

Remember these are only pre-season games. Different line combinations will be tried, some will click and some won't. Changes will be made where required. The guys that are mentioned are all good jr. b hockey players and it takes time to adjust to each others style.
The NHL teams use the pre-season games to try using different combinations until the right fit is found. Why would jr. b be any different? Some teams may go a month or even longer before finding out who plays best with who.
Things look very promising for the Falcons this year and the first good test comes this Thursday in Thorold. Should be a good game.

There is an old saying in hockey a line needs three elements ..The last one being the Trigger..Each Line should have a power forward.. This would be my line combos for the Falcon's...Kilcar..Potter.. Dahms... Killer .. Potter would be the Trigger...Stevenson ..Blinkhorne. Shaw... Stevenson the trigger... Aucoin ..Petro and Chummer ... Petro the Trigger... Diggers...Kilcar.. Blinkhorne.. Aucoin... ..The power forwards... Dahms. Shaw... Chummer.... Wong.. Ziraldo..McGarr...Then i would look for a trade to get the Rylands kid out of Fort Erie... Thanks for you time ... The Coach

Coach, now that you've got the lines all set with all the best players, who do you have left to make a trade with?

Potter or Killcar, they don't have any other young prospects, there all gone. And I don't think any other team would give up anybody thats any good for a last year player thats only a penalty killer. Thats just my opinion.

The Coach the only thing wrong with the petro, chummer and aucoin line is there is only one puck to go around. you need someone to be unselfish to play with chummer and petro..someone to work the corners...and backcheck....too much offense can be a bad thing...

How many are on the Falcon's roster now? Are they still over 23 players?

Falcons have all bought into the program? Sure, right now until they are healthy scratches, sitting in the stands! That is what happens when you have too many, some don't play on a regular basis.

Chayka, young '89. St. Cath has better '89 players on their Midget AAA team like Nedilski and Howard.

Wishful thinking. I don't think St Cath will kill Thorold, however with all the banner hanging (3) and presentations, Thorold might get caught up in the all hype. It's okay if they lose this game, they will still celebrate a great 2004-2005. Didn't they lose their first game last year and look what happened.

Not strong enough or fast enough to play as a 16 year old.

Nedliski and Howard are miles away from helping. They are not even the best on the midget team.

Chayka is a good player.... im not criticizing ur coment or anything, as I have never seen these kids play, but just curious as to how the kid gets drafted into the O and isnt going to be good enough to mean something in B.

was that chayka kid drafted? cause i hate to say it but he is just no near ready enough for Jr.B, its especially evident when they play goods teams , like when st.kitts lost 4-1 he was just lost out there, he will one day tho be a decent jr.b player, he has the height so who knows

;DThe Kid was drafted...like many are every year......he can play the game.....Junior is an adjustment for all these kids. Whether it's Junior a b or c they need to get their feet wet. Give this kid or any kid a chance, you've failed him without a test...you guys should be teachers oops sorry didn't mean to slag the teachers.......

Too true. i can never get around the guys that come onto this page and take digs at young kids who have just come into this league. And we are all supposed to listen to these so called experts opinions on somebody who they have only seen once or twice. Maybe these kids will make it,maybe they won't but at least they are playing a decent calibre of hockey instead of paying to get in like all the so called experts i read on here. Try supporting the local talent from this area for a change instead of cutting the kids up. At least they are playing hockey instead of watching it.

Howard and Nedilski playing on the St. Cath Midget AAA team were both drafted higher than Chayka, I believe. Difference is their parents didn't go around talking to many of the Jr. B GM's trying to get their kid on a Jr. B. roster.

Sour Grapes Junior B fan. Look at the three posts you have on this thread. You have a bone to pick with Cole and the Falcons. You could be either Nedilski, Howard or their dad, or friend or someone who wasn't taken by the Falons. Cole wants to win this thing badly. Let him decide who he wants to bring along. As long as this team keeps winning (and last night shows that they are contenders) these rants are useless. Atleast wait until the Falcons falter before suggesting that they are doing something other than trying to win at all costs.

I agree with Hobbit. I don't hear Howard or Nedilski setting the Midget league on fire. The Falcons have signed Chayka as their only 16 year old. If one of these guys starts scoring 100 goals, I am sure that Cole will go get them and sign them to the last card 16 year old card. Cole will stop at nothing to win. Listening to Junior B fan talk is only the rantings of a jealous person.
