I have to agree that Hall is a good goalie however he was never able to take us past 3rd place. We need a finisher, someone to take us to the big show. Maybe he's afraid a good back-up could become the starter. Every other team gives their back-up 10-15 games per year maybe more. They need the experience and confidence.

To Back to Back..I don't care if Dahms had 5 goals in the game i just said he didn't have a good game. You must be a Falcon coach because you don't know anything about hockey. One of those goals by the way was a shot from the blueline, the goalie wasn't screened,,A good pee wee goalie should have stopped that ...If the Falcon's play against good teams like Thorold and Niagar falls and play like that Hall will have to be great..

Young Penner is a good kid but the truth is he wasn't good enough to play with the Falcons and no other team in the Shoe showed any interest in him. That's why he's trying out with the Peach Kings. I wish him luck and hope he finds a place to play in Jr. C.

I guess one game proves you're not good enough now. Its too bad he was never given a chance. The coach sending him out of the dressing room and telling the rest of the team that he thinks he sucks doesnt help either. Way to show some confidence in your players falcons.

One game and thirty five practices tells the coach what he needs to know. Why didn't somebody else in the Shoe claim him if he was good enough to make it. ??
I'll wait for your answere........... And if the coach did what you say he did, he needs a good swift kick you know where.

how good is any player until given the chance??one gane will not show anybody anything. and all players play differently in practice than in games.Penner was a good steady goalie playing minor(i know i watched him often)who was ap'd out of midget.why the falcon's soured on him is beyond me. as for another b team picking him up, i'm sure Ryan could start for at least 4 teams in the league.no one has given him the chance. let's hope he catches on to a "c" team.

it looks like GRimsby will keep him on for their goaltending tandem.. him and porter who played for stoney creek b last season for a bit.

David Cole wants a winning team, so does St. Catharines and so do the players. If you can't cut it at the begining of season, you most likely will not at the end when only the most dedicated, hard working, healthy players are still playing. To win the Golden Horseshoe and have a chance at the Suthie, you have pick a team smart, you have to practice hard and you have to play to win. The Flacons will go all the way this year.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

be realistic though.. one game? grimsby, for example, rotates goalies to give both a chance to prove they are No. 1. its called fair coaching. You don't win being a fair coach, you earn your ice time every time you step om the ice.

so when a rookie goalie comes in to a game, despite not having the experience, he is thrown to the dogs after one game?? not likely.

well being a fair coach will ultimately get u farther. all players will be excited about the team and you wont run down ur top 2 lines and number 1 goalie in the playoffs. the falcons showed that in the playoffs last year.
