as far as i am concerned i feel the ice dogs have done an excellent job of marketing. people in st, catharines and surrounding area should get their heads out of their @@sses and support this hockey. the niagara area is showing again how people want to complain all the time, but never do anything to help. yea, parking, yea arena. build a bridge and get over it. GET OUT AND SUPPORT OUR TEAM. evryone talks about how it is everyone elses fault we lost the hawks, fincups, flyers, thunder , baby jays etc. theses franchises and alot like them survive in even smaller venues and are very successful. maybe it is about time we stopped all the bull and just supported the team. i dont want to see another autopsy on a team we are very lucky to have.

Agreed. BUT speaking about marketing, sure they do a good job in St. Catharines. But trust me on this one, for a team that says they are the regions team, marketing outside of St. Kitts could be much improved. I need a ticket, I gotta go to St. Kitts. I need merch? Ditto. Yes I support this team fully, but I only complain because I'm hoping that they will drastically improve in certain areas that I feel is important for the future of them in Niagara.

I went to Sunrise Records at Niagara Square who are the Ticket Master agent in the Falls to pick up some Icedog tickets. Sign on the door at Sunrise... out of business and closed, other store at the Penn. If they are complaining about a lack of Falls fans coming out, they have to address this ticket issue. Why not have the kiosk at Niagara Square handle tickets the same as the Penn without the extra fees Ticket Master charged. Same holds true at Seaway Mall in Welland. We shouldn't have to go into St. Kitts to get advance tickets.

I heard about Sunrise. Is there another Ticketmaster in Niagara Falls? I don't know that it would be up to the team to put a ticketmaster in Niagara Square. I think ticketmaster would have to do that or at least approve it. You are correct they do need ticket outlets in the Square and Seaway mall, I just don't think it is totally up to them if they have to deal with ticketmaster.

Here's one thing they can do to help attendance on Sunday afternoons. Move the games to 4:00pm. A lot of people work jobs that are around the clock seven days a week, like hospitals, factories etc... If you're working a Sunday day shift 7am - 3pm you can't go because of the 2pm start time.
The Hamilton Bulldogs use to do Sundays at 2pm a few years ago. When they change to 4pm they did see an increase in attendance compared to 2pm.
